Fresh off an end-to-end restoration following multiple hurricanes in 2018, this charming boutique resort in St. Thomas Virgin Islands was ready for a comprehensive re-brand to match their updated property. The new image for the laid-back Caribbean escape needed to showcase the vibrant, active, culturally rich destination with authenticity while also positioning Bolongo Bay as a contemporary destination for discerning travelers.
To reimagine this classic brand, we tapped into its true essence – a Caribbean gem that’s a delightfully well-kept secret. Instead of flashy primary colors and outdated island kitsch, we led our client in a direction that spoke to a whole new generation of travelers. Sophisticated, but not stuffy. Relaxed, but still refined. Simplified design, typography, messaging, and textural elements combine to create a specialized niche for the brand in an otherwise crowded marketplace.
